Chris:  Trying to answer your questions regarding the production process used to produce our humorous golf art. The inks used to print the BB prints are Epson inks which are warrented to be archival. Archival inks have been tested and shown to
last many years without fading.

The PH neutral matte paper which I use is what's recommended for archival
inks to achieve their durability.  The golf prints are made on  seven-cartridge Epson 2200 printers.  I have never seen better prints.  We tried several print houses and offered them an opportunity to match our colors and they weren't
able to do it.

The process I use to create the originals includes a combination of hand drawn work and the use of original photographs.  I combine the illustrations with (often) multiple photographs working in multiple layers until the work is complete.  The finished illustrations exist as digital originals producing wonderful details.  All prints are accomplished by computer control from the digital masters to the printer. 

The creation process: " This is to certify that the original of this print was created by me, Mr. Lightfoot using original illustrations and images of actual sites photographed by me. The resulting compositions are digital images, printed using archival inks on PH neutral paper and personally autographed by me."

What makes each print unique is that each print is signed by me.
The Canyon Series prints are numbered but on the advice of artist friends
I decided to make the Eagle Series an "open edition."

The numbering of the Canyon Series is a 950 print "First Edition."  

The framed images are framed using "gallery style" hardwood frames and glass.
Each has the usual brown paper backing and a wire hanger.  The "Certificate of Authenticity" is affixed to the back of each print.

When we ship the framed golf prints, we use specially prepared cartons.  When we ship the unframed prints we are now using flat cartons with each print protected
by a plastic sleeve.
